Welcome in the April showers (who am I kidding, this is Lower Mainland British Columbia, so this isn’t the only month that we have to endure inclement weather) with these very practical yet stylish rain boots! If, like me, you're bored of mundane, unimaginative and dull colour options, such as black or grey (yawn), a splash of yellow (what Kamik call “mustard”) will certainly ring the changes! If, also like me, you don't see the point of wearing rain boots unless they cover most of your lower legs, then these are ideal for you, too. As a crazy dog mumma, these rain boots are perfect for taking our three furbabies to the river and lake as they're well insulated yet breathable, lightweight and flexible, and offer decent traction. What I also love about these rain boots is the quality. I'm sick and tired of purchasing boots that rip, tear and deteriorate within a few months of use. You can feel the difference with these boots and they do the job that rain boots are supposed to; they're strong, durable and actually keep you dry! In fact, I like them so much that they make the incessant rain here, in what we affectionately call a 'temperate rainforest', almost bearable. Whatsmore, if the above isn't enough to whet your appetite, it's worth knowing that they're Canadian-made and, given the current US-Canada trade war, that's a very good thing! And last, but not least, they're made from 100% recyclable and vegan-friendly material, so you can feel good about wearing them too! Sadly, this pair doesn't fit me (I wasn't sure which size was going to fit so I also purchased a size 9), and because of Kamik's odd return policy, I wasn't able to get a refund or exchange without having to incur some additional costs. So, rather than just taking up real estate in my wardrobe, lucky you - they're yours for an exceptionally good price!! (Original price: $90 plus tax)
