    Selling a collection of Canadian 9 coins and a one-dollar bill from the 1967 Centennial year! These are unique pieces of Canadian history. Perfect for collectors or anyone interested in vintage currency. (3)1943 Canada 5 Cents (Tombac) Coin - King George VI "WORLD WAR 2 ERA COIN" During World War 2 there was a great need for nickel as a war material. The Royal Canadian Mint stop using nickel to produce Canada 5 Cents Coins. The Mint instead used a material called Tombac which is composed of 88% copper and 12% zinc to produce the 5 cents coins. The new 1943 Canada 5 cents coins were given a 12 side shape and the beaver design was replaced with a large V to stand for 5 cents and for victory.
