You add the Bissell formula to water and vacuum over the carpet or furniture fabric and it sucks up the dirt and stain and releases into a section you can easily empty. I have used to clean a stained white designer chair and it worked so well still in good condition. The hose has been patched and still works great. Retails for about $150.
