Morley Kakepetum, born in 1936 in Sandy Lake, Ontario, is an Anishinaabe (often called Ojibwe/Oji-Cree) artist rooted in the Woodland school of painting. His work is acrylic- or print-based, rich with vivid outlines and motifs drawn from local legends—passed down orally by elders of his community. Original print.
