Newly built garage / shop workbench, built for strength and endurance. Care and attention to all parts of the construction has produced a great workbench, perfect for your garage or workspace. This workbench is framed with reclaimed very strong, fir 2 x4's and 2 x 6's that are resurfaced to bring out the beautiful grain. Framing is solidly screwed together with #10 x 3 1/2" coated, exterior construction screws. All panels are new 12 mm (1/2") birch plywood & are secured using #8 x 2" construction screws. Together these materials look great! Overall size is 191 cm (75") wide x 183 cm (72") high x 61 cm. (24") deep. The work surface size is 61 x 183 cm (22 x72"). The upper shelf is 30 x 183 cm. (12 x 72"). Lower shelf is 61 x 183 cm. (24 x 72 ") The tool wall is 81 x 183 cm. (32 x 72") . The frame is designed to accept woodworkers front vise for extra holding power. My personal garage bench is built to the same design and at 10 years of use remains strong and useful.
